You're finally interested in leveling up or at least using your fisher!

Here are some guides that will help you out on your fishing Journey :)

Fishing Speedrun to 50

Here's the guide i used to get from lvl 1 to 50 in around 18-20 Hours! It's really helpful in getting those quick levels for your fisher.

Note:

For Lvls 27-35: Western Thanalan. Moondrip using chocobo fly here gives you grip killifish which are the best exp by far until dune fishing

The above is better than the recommended area given on the list.

Eorzea Gathering Map

This map lists all locations of gathering nodes for Mining, Botany, and most importantly fishing. Listed are the fish on each location as well as level so you can find.

You can also use this list to see all available fish and where to fish em from. Very useful in finding fish needed for 100% completion.

Some Useful Tips

• Always keep your Fishing Rod updated!
  This ensures you a better chance of getting HQ fish which are required for turn-ins at higher levels and leves
• Always eat Food when you're out Fishing!
  This gives you additional 3% Exp as well as boost in perception/gathering. Recommended food items while leveling up: Rabbit Pie and Jack-o'-lantern You can ask us to craft some if you don't have your CUL leveled.
• Update Your Gear!
  Don't spend too much gil upgrading your gear every 5 levels. Gears can be upgraded around level 20, 35, 45.
